Read More	SOURCE: Death Certificate: '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' The Billings Gazette, (MT.) 10/5/1998 Monday Page 4 Henry Alvin Greene, Sr., COLUMBUS, MT. ---- Henry Alvin Greene, Sr., 76, of Columbus formerly of Custer, Billings, Ballantine, passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 3, at the Stillwater Community Hospital. He was born Dec. 11, 1921, in Custer, MT., the son of Charles and Nina Winters Greene. He was raised and educated in Custer. He entered the U.S. Army where he served during WW II. Following his discharge he returned to Custer and met and married Bonita Rogers, Oct. 6, 1945. They had farmed in California and Custer prior to working east of Billings on the Schroeder farm from 1952 to 1984. They retired and moved to Ballantine where he helped his son Butch farm. In 1994 they moved back to Billings. On Jan. 23, 1995, his wife Bonita passed away. In November of 1994 Henry entered the Stillwater Community Hospital Extended Care. He was a member of the VFW in Worden and the Eagle Lodge in Billings. Survivors include three sons, John (Myrna) Greene of Missoula, MT., Henry Butch (Dianne) Greene of Ballantine, MT., Ronald (Sharon) Greene of Hobson, MT.; two daughters, Donna (John) Horton of Columbus, MT., and Nancy (Larry) Sauter of Huntley, MT. and a granddaughter whom they raised, Rhonda (Robert) Wageman of Hysham, MT.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings, and a granddaughter whom they also raised, Robbyn Rosales. Funeral services will be held at the Custer Congregational Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7. Interment will be in the Custer Cemetery, Custer, MT. Memorials may be made to the Stillwater Community Hospital or the VFW in Worden. Smith downtown Chapel in charge of arrangements.
