Description	:	Sharon Irene (Marshall) Wheeldon, 56, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2005, after her long eight-year illness with Lou Gehrig's disease. She was born in Helena on April 12, 1949, the daughter of Dee O. Marshall and Ruth Elaine (Duncan) Marshall. She had been employed by state government in publication and graphics and also in child support enforcement for 17 years. She and Roger Wheeldon were married June 1, 1998, and again on March 2, 2005. Sharon enjoyed life and particularly the outdoors, including camping, fishing and skiing. Planting flower gardens was also of special interest to her.... Sharon enjoyed life and particularly the outdoors, including camping, fishing and skiing. Planting flower gardens was also of special interest to her. She was a very vibrant person, and had a beautiful smile. In her younger years, she attended the Lutheran Church, and most recently had attended the Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Roger Wheeldon; a son, William Bruce Stephenson; and a daughter, DeeAnna Walker, all of Helena; three stepchildren, Brandon Wheeldon and Jacinda Glover, both of Helena; and Stuart Wheeldon of St. Petersburg, Fla. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Tucker Walker and Jacob Marks of Helena; a brother, Chuck (Rosalie) Marshall of Escondido, Calif., and a sister, Gayle (Chuck) Schmidt of Billings; nieces Tracy (Scott) and Chloe Henderson of Ft. Collins, Colo.; and Tricia (Darrin), Allie and Abbie Donaldson of Billings; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to both of her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Marshall, and a sister, Myrna Marshall. Funeral services for Sharon Irene Marshall Wheeldon will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 22, in Retz Funeral Home Chapel, with cremation to follow. Memorial services will also be held on Saturday, May 28, for other relatives who cannot attend the funeral service. Burial of her cremated remains will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Lou Gehrig's Disease Foundation.
