Read More	Belleville Telescope Thursday, February 20, 1975 Concordia Woman Killed in Crash Early Sunday Morning- Unknown Who Was Driving Other Car Mrs. Gary Fraser. 34, rural Concordia, died at St. Joseph’s hospital Sunday shortly after the car she was driving was involved in a collision at a Concordia street intersection. The car driven by Mrs. Fraser, mother of 5, and the car occupied by 5 Concordia teenagers collided at about 6.30 a. m. Sunday. The 5 youths were taken to St. Joseph's hospital and all were reported in satisfactory condition Monday morning. Mrs. Fraser was alone in her car at the time of the accident. Concordia police officials are still investigating the accident and had not determined which of the 5 teenagers was driving the car. The 5 hospitalized young persons are Michelle Reed, Kathy Dillon, Jenny Emmel, Terry Ticking and Dawnel Paris, all of Concordia. The accident occurred at 11th and Cedar streets in Concordia at the Southeast intersection of the high school. Concordia Police Officer Bill Tallent told the Telescope that he was not sure which way the cars were headed at the time of the mishap. Although it is believed that Mrs. Fraser was headed west on 11th and the other car was headed south on Cedar. Police have talked to only one occupant of the car occupied by the teenagers as the others have apparently been under sedation and have not been able to determine who was the driver of the car. Tallent said there apparently were no witnesses to the accident other than the survivors. There is a traffic light at the intersection where the accident occurred, but it is not known which car had the right-of-way. Both cars were totally demolished according to the Concordia Police Department. The funeral for Mrs. Sharon K Fra ser was at 10 a m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Concordia. the Rev. Loren Werth officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Fraser was born Oct. 24, 1940, at Concordia, was graduated from Concordia High School in 1958, and worked part-time as a telephone operator in Concordia. She was believed enroute to the Fraser home from work when the collision happened. Surviving are the widower. Gary; 5 children. Casey, Trisha, Christine, Renee and Jodi, all of the home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Scott, Concordia; 2 brothers, Wayne Scott, Concordia, and Richard Scott. 1216 Talley Dr., Salina; a sister. Mrs. Norman Cook. Concordia, and her grandmother, Mrs. George Wharton, Mankato. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday at the Chaput Funeral Home, Concordia, where friends may call.
