She was born on February 6, 1925 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Albert Lindmark and Ethel Lindmark. On October 5, 1946, she married Richard C. Lantz at the First United Methodist Church in Boone. She was born on February 6, 1925 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Albert Lindmark and Ethel Lindmark. On October 5, 1946, she married Richard C. Lantz at the First United Methodist Church in Boone. Sharon was a graduate of Boone High School. She worked four years in the office of the Ft. Dodge and Des Moines Southern Railroad. After marriage, the couple lived in California for 24 years where she was a homemaker. They retired to Iowa in 1983. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Boone and an active member of Martha's Circle. Her parents; husband of 67 years Dick Lantz in December of 2013; sisters and brothers-in-law Helen and Rudy Eldien, Fern and Kermit Eldien, and Jean and Roger Orr; and brothers and sisters-in-law Marvin and Betty Lindmark, Bob Lindmark, Ken Lindmark, and Bill and Marg Lindmark preceded her in death. Survivors include 3 daughters Linda Rehnstrom and husband Al of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jo Shumer and husband Loren of Anaheim, California and Lori Nystrom and husband Curt of Boone; 5 grandchildren Nick Nystrom and wife BriAnna, Brian Nystrom and Marci Nystrom, Jason Waldman and wife Michelle, and Emily Baker and husband Chad; 5 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Jan Lindmark and Connie Lindmark. The family would like to express gratitude to the McFarland Clinic, Boone County Hospital, and Hospice of Central Iowa for their compassionate care. Following Sharon's wishes, her body was been cremated.
