She was known for her cookies, popcorn balls and punch. Gatherings with family and friends were important to her. She was a fun-loving mother and had a habit of making noise in the morning hours, banging pots and pans around in the kitchen until everyone was out of bed. She believed in living “one day at a time.” She was a graduate of Frankfort High School. She graduated from Stormont-Vail in 1956 as a registered nurse and enjoyed caring for people. She always had time to listen to friends and family when they needed it. Children fell in love with her playful sense of humor. Sharon treated everyone she came across as a friend. She will be missed. Sharon was reunited with her husband and favorite square dance partner, the late Dale Lloyd Clear. She was the daughter of the late, George Orville Nordquist and Mabel Harriet Swanson Nordquist. Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Dannels. Survivors include her sisters, Becky Shepherd (Larry) and Sue Brummett (Gary) and sister-in-law, Joyce Mellott. Her spirit is carried on by her three children; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren whose photos she would share with prospective friends in the checkout line: Steve Clear (wife, Debbie, children, Lindsey and Briana), Brenda Belline (husband, Tony, children, Michael and Joseph); Peggy Moore (husband, Michael, children, John and Amanda); and many in-laws; nieces; nephews; friends and family too numerous to list, but not forgotten.
