Read More	Nov 22, 2004 0 PARK CITY Sharon Yvonne Collum, 52, of Park City, exited this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of family and friends on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004. She was born Feb. 28, 1952, in Columbus, to Clifford and Zelma Simons. She spent her early childhood on a farm in Rapelje before moving to Park City at the age of 5. She graduated from Park City High School in 1970. In 1973, she met and married the love of her life, L. Wayne Collum. Together, they had two daughters, Lisa and Tara, both of whom carry on their spirited nature. Sharon's compassion and loving outlook enriched the lives of many. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, sons-in-law, and especially her grandson, Connor Wayne. She found pleasure in decorating and making her home a place where all felt welcome. Sharon also enjoyed helping others with their decorating endeavors. She was a strong, giving and caring woman with a contagious laugh and loving spirit. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Zelma Simons; and husband, L. Wayne Collum. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Heather Knutson (Craig), of Laurel, Tara Jo Collum and fiancé Jason Frank of Park City; grandson Connor; her sister-in-law, Ginger Collum, of Prattville, Ala.; brother-in-law, Eddie Bishop (Dawn), of Atlanta; brothers, Dean Simons (Dolores) of Columbus, Richard Simons (Sue) of Park City, Larry Simons (Dee) of Park City, Jim Simons of Billings, Jerry Simons (Betty) of Park City; sister Caroline Wies (Dave) of Three Forks; and many beloved nieces and nephews who will sense this loss. The family is deeply grateful for the support of the community and the ever dedicated staff of Big Sky Hospice in Stillwater County. A special thank you to doctors Maier, Dahl, Schmidt and the nursing staff at St. Vincent Hospital for their wonderful care of our mother and true friend. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m. at the Park City Baptist Church. Memorials may be sent to SEG Credit Union in Laurel.
