Shelly Ann Cordell, the daughter of Michael and Linda (Lauseng) Day, was born April 13, 1967 in Watertown, South Dakota. She grew up in Watertown, graduating from Watertown Senior High in 1985. She also attended Lake Area Vo-Tech and in 1987 she graduated with a Degree in Cosmetology. She married Kevin Namken on February 19, 1987 in Watertown. She later married Thomas Cordell September 12, 2003 at Codington County Courthouse then renewed their vows on December 10, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Church. Shelly owned and operated a hair salon called The Shop. She loved cooking and gardening, and enjoyed playing the game Candy Crush on the internet. Shelly is survived by her husband, Tom of Watertown, SD; children, Lindsey (Nathan) West of Thomas, SD, Haleigh Namken of Watertown, SD, Kelcie Namken of Pensacola, FL, Marshall Namken of Watertown, SD, Anthony and Jamesen Cordell both of Watertown; 2 grandchildren and one on the way; her parents, Mike and Linda Day of Watertown, SD; her brothers, Michael W. (Diane) Day of El Paso, TX and Shannon (Sandee) Day of San Angelo, TX. - Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel
