She attended Cottey College before attending the University of Iowa, where she met and married Gerry Mundt Rinden. Read More	Sherrill Boyle Phoenix, AZ Sherrill Lee (Hansen) Rinden Boyle passed away at her home in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday August 23, 2015 at the age of 73. Sherry was born in Davenport, Iowa. She attended Cottey College before attending the University of Iowa, where she met and married Gerry Mundt Rinden. Sherry and Gerry lived for many years in the Quad Cities where they raised their two daughters, Jennifer Rinden (Tom Alt) and Allison Rinden Ownby (Dan). In 1986, Gerry and Sherry moved to Des Moines. After Gerry's death in 2002, Sherry married John W.R. Boyle, a dear friend whose beloved wife, Estelle, had also passed. Jennifer, Allison and John's daughter, Lisa Girouard (John), were delighted that their parents married and could share so many wonderful years together. Sherry was an amazing mother, stepmother, and mother-in-law. She was a loving and devoted grandmother to Gerry Alt and Ashley and Emily Girouard. She was the proud owner of Zoey Rose, a Yorkshire Terrier, and they were inseparable. Sherry enjoyed many activities and could often be found attending hydro fit or yoga classes at the Biltmore. She loved spending time with her friends, brothers and sister (Jim Hansen, Linda Hucke, and Bill Hansen). She was a vibrant, gracious, beautiful lady inside and out, and will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org) or the Alumnae Legacy Scholarship at Cottey College (www.cottey.edu/give). A memorial service celebrating Sherry's life will be held in Phoenix on September 12, 2015 at Christ Church of the Ascension. Sherry will be buried in Springdale, Iowa. A graveside service in Springdale is planned for October 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. Published in Des Moines Register on Aug. 31, 2015
