Mrs. Worley died at her home in Odessa on Friday, May 18, 2001. She was 62 years old. She was born May 17, 1939, in Odessa, the daughter of Louis and Elma (Spurling) Frederick. Mrs. Worley died at her home in Odessa on Friday, May 18, 2001. She was 62 years old. She was born May 17, 1939, in Odessa, the daughter of Louis and Elma (Spurling) Frederick. She grew up in Odessa and was graduated from Odessa High School with the Class of 1957 and also from Kinman Business University. She married Eugene Worley on Nov 22, 1958 in Odessa. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, yard sales, crocheting and baking. She loved doing things for the community and spending time with family and grandchildren. She also lover her dachshund dogs, Maggie, Sparky, Queenie and Brunner. During her illness, she enjoyed watching game shows and Judge Judy. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Worley, at the home; one son, Mark Worley, of Odessa; one daughter, Sherry and husband Pat McMillan, of Yakima; four grandchildren, Derrick, Kyle and Cody McMillan and Katelyn Worley; 3 brothers, Leland Frederick, of Sprague; Wayne Frederick and Ron Frederick, both of Odessa, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Worley will lie in state at Heritage Chapel on Saturday, May 26, from 11 to 1. A potluck dinner at the VFW Hall will follow the Memorial Service. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Odessa Cemetery. Services are being directed by Strate Funeral Home.” (Odessa Record: 5-24-2001)
