On December 23, 2014, Shirley passed away at Careage Hills in Cherokee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Carrie Heath; and her husband, Chuck Smith. She will be remembered by her nieces: Kay Elfrink of California, Mary Jo McKenzie of Arkansas, Terrie Wilcoxon of Arizona, and Claudia Ellis of Massachusetts; one nephew, Mark Martin of Arkansas; and other relatives and friends.
