Born on April 14, 1936 in Hicksville, Shirley was the daughter of the late Leland and Marie (Guiff) Savage. Shirley was a 1954 graduate of Hicksville High School. On September 25, 1954, she was united in marriage to Gerald Hinsch and he survives. Shirley was a member of the First Church of Christ, Hicksville, Eastern Star, and the Eagles Auxiliary.
