She is survived by her husband, Glen E Cohn of Nebraska City, NE, sons Jay C. Cohn and wife Debra of Lenexa, KS, Glen E Cohn Jr. of Watson, MO, Gary A Cohn and wife Teralyn of Sedgwick, KS, William D Cohn and wife Brenda J of Lincoln, NE, and Chad L. Cohn and wife Tammy of Waverly, NE, as well as the treasures of her life, grandchildren Kimberly and Aaron, Kindl and Keenan, Hillary and James, Megan and Matthew, and Jared; great grandchild Anden, one brother, Bob Best of Omaha, NE, sister Beverly Snyder of North Bend, NE and many friends. Shirley grew up and received her education in North Bend where she graduated in 1945 as class valedictorian. She worked at Omaha Athletic Club until she married. They had 57 wonderful years together raising their family. Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Jacene L, three sisters Janet, Kathryn, Marjorie and a brother Floyd. Shirley will be cremated and no services will be held. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Wyuka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Susan G Komen Foundation in care of Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City.
