Read More	Shirley Willcoxson September 30, 1930 - March 10, 2019 Obituary for Shirley Willcoxson Shirley Willcoxson, 79, of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on March 10, 2019 at her home. She was born September 30, 1939 in Davis County, Iowa to Forrest F. and Helen F. Dixon Mathews. She graduated from Davis County High School in 1958. Shirley married Robert L. Willcoxson on July 3, 1965. Bob was divorced and brought three young children into the marriage. Bob and Shirley lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for 25 years and Shirley worked at Rockwell Collins for 20 years. In 1983, Bob and Shirley moved to Bloomfield. She was a member and Elder of the Bloomfield Christian Church and a member of the Davis County Genealogical Society. She is survived by a daughter, Sue Miller of Centralia, Missouri; two step-sons, Bryan Willcoxson of Onalaska, Wisconsin, Brent Willcoxson of Urbana, Iowa; step-daughter, Julie Willcoxson-Morse of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Phillip (Sheila) Mathews of Hiawatha, Iowa, Ron (Teresa) Mathews, Kathy (Mike) McClurg both of Bloomfield; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Duane Mathews; and a sister Linda Mathews Reese. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Bloomfield Christian Church with Pastor Ron DeVore officiating. Bob and Shirley’s cremated remains will be buried at 3:00 p.m. the same day at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Memorials have been established to the Davis County Genealogical Society, Good Samaritan Hospice, and the Bloomfield Christian Church. Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield is assisting the family.
