Description	:	Shirley M. Perry Shirley M. Perry, 81, of Wolbach died Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Heritage Living Center in St. Paul. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach. Carolyn Hellerich will officiate. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach. Perry, 81, of Wolbach died Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Heritage Living Center in St. Paul. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach. Mrs. Perry was born February 23, 1931 on the family farm in Greeley County to Everel and Ruth (Foreman) Meyer. Shirley first attended rural schools near her home and then Wolbach Public Schools where she graduated in 1948. She was united in marriage to Clarence Allen in January 1948 in South Dakota. The couple lived in Wolbach for a short time before moving to a farm southeast of Wolbach in Howard County. Shirley worked in a creamery for James Produce. In 1964 they moved into Wolbach where they purchased and operated a bar. In 1968 she began working at the Wolbach Café where she was employed until 1977. Shirley married Howard Perry on May 1, 1977 in Broken Bow. They lived on a farm for about 10 years. At that time they moved into Wolbach where they lived for the rest of their lives. Shirley loved to be with her family. She enjoyed going to sales, Pickstown, do crossword puzzles, and listen to polka music. She also liked woodworking. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the church circle, the Ray Mapes American Legion Auxiliary and the Community Club, all of Wolbach. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Rhonda Allen of Wolbach, Jerry Allen of Polk, and Tom and Nancy Allen of Sioux City, IA; one daughter and son-in-law, Devona and Rick Brown of Wolbach; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Anne Meyer of Hastings; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard on September 27, 2008 and a brother, Darwin Meyer.
