Description	:	Funeral for Sidney I. ‘Sid' Davis, 60, will be Tuesday. Mr. Davis died Friday. Services will be at 2 p.m. from the Chaney-Walters Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Youtz officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Mr. Davis was born Aug. 29, 1919, in Sterling, a son of Ira M. and Ruth B. Moore Davis. He married Wilma ‘Billie' Monroe in Sterling on Sept. 29, 1940 and they moved to the Crook area where they farmed until 1975, when he retired because of his health. They moved into Sterling, living at 631 Elwood. He was a member of the First Evangelical Church. Survivors include his widow, a son, Charles I. Davis, Hillsboro, Ore.; a daughter, Betty Jo Carwin, Greeley; a brother, Lyle Davis, Tickfaw, La.; and six grandchildren. The Chaney-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
