Description	:	FABER – Sidney James Patrick, 88, died Sunday at 9:40 a.m. at his home in Faber. He was born in Tazewell County, W. Va., Dec. 24, 1881, a son of the late E. Martin and Mary Jackson Patrick. He was a retired employe of the Virginia Bridge Co. in Roanoke. Besides his wife, Mrs. Lacy Truslow Patrick, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Homer (Lelia) Weaver of Waynesboro; three sons, James W. Patrick of Roseland, William G. Patrick of Nellysford, and John R. Patrick of Greenfield; one brother, Edgar Patrick of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A... A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Beech Grove Christian Church by the Rev. J. D. Farries and the Rev. Ralph Hyder. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be McCoy Patrick, Wayne Patrick, Roger Patrick, Dean Fitzgerald, Caskie Fitzgerald, Mickel Marshall, Homer Weaver Jr., and Shirley Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Fitzgerald, Lelsie Fitzgerald, Haywood Campbell, Willie Fitzgerald, Forest Duncan, Johnny Falls, B. C. Small Sr., Guy Duncan, Norman Duncan, Eddie Mawyer, John Huffman, Worthy Thompson, Grafton Truslow, Gordon Hughes, Arthur Bryant, Charlie Baker, Bill Wiggins, and Jessie Fitzgerald.
