He was the husband of Mrs. Hazel N. Wayble Goode, and son of the late Strother R. and Helen Stickley Goode. Mr. Goode was born and reared at Fisher's Hill, Va. He was a veteran of World War I, had resided in Brunswick since 1914, and had worked for the B&O Railroad 40 years before his retirement two years ago. He was the husband of Mrs. Hazel N. Wayble Goode, and son of the late Strother R. and Helen Stickley Goode. Mr. Goode was born and reared at Fisher's Hill, Va. He was a veteran of World War I, had resided in Brunswick since 1914, and had worked for the B&O Railroad 40 years before his retirement two years ago. The deceased was an active member of the First Methodist Church of Brunswick; Brunswick Lodge No. 191 A.F. and A.M.; Frederick Lodge of Perfection; Chesapeake Consistory Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rites of Free Masonry; past patron of Brunswick Chapter No. 97, Order of the Eastern Star; Steadman-Keenan Post No. 96, American Legion; The Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, Lodge 497. Surviving besides his wife are a brother, Lester E. Goode, LaVale; a sister, Mrs. Rose Horn, Daleville, Ind. and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Edwin H. Langrall at the C. H. Feete and Brother funeral home in Brunswick, with full Masonic rites. Interment will be in Lovettsville (Va.) Union Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home after 12 noon today.
