October 12, 1911 - Simon Eaton was in from Florence Twp., with cattle, Wednesday of last week. February 24, 1916 - S. F. Eaton was in from the south yesterday on business. April 14, 1916 - S. F. Eaton and son, Orval, and the McMahon Bros., were in Orient last Thursday afternoon for a short time. July 5, 1917 - S. F. Eaton of Florence township, drove through here Wednesday with an auto load bound for Montana, where they expect to file on government land. Dan McMahon was one of the party. December 11, 1919 - Simon Eaton delivered cattle here last Friday night, having sold them to Charles Corson, the cattle buyer. March 20, 1924 - Announcements have been received of the marriage on February 21st of Mrs. Wilhelmena Throp and Simon Eaton,Jr., The event taking place at Valpariso, Nebraska. - Miller Press.
