"Sivilla Hauser departed this life on the 17th day of June in the year of 1846 at Yough Glades. Aged 72 years, 4 month, 15 days." "Buried on June 19 at Yough Glades." (Note: At the time of her death, Sivilla was living with her husband Adam at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mary and William Waltz at Yough Glades. (NOTE: Yough Glades became Oakland in 1854.) RECORDS OF THE GERMAN REFORMED CHURCH, Frederick, Maryland document the following about Sivilla: 1) Born 2 Feb 1774, daughter of "Georg" and Catherine Jantz. 2) Baptized on 1 Apr 1774 and confirmed 2 Apr 1790. 3) Adam Hausser Married Sibylla Jantz 10 Jun 1791, the Rev. William Runkel, officiating; witnesses: George Hoffmann and Michael Braun. SIBLINGS: Records of the German Reformed Church, Frederick, Maryland show two other children born to Georg and Catherine Jantz and who are Sivilla's siblings: 1) Heinrich/Henry Yantz, b. 30 Jun 1776, Frederick, Maryland; baptized 21 Sept 1776 (Note: Some researchers have listed a different Henry Yantz as a son of Georg and Catherine Yantz (b. 1 Nov 1785, in Cumberland, Maryland; m Mary Willison in Cumberland, Maryland on 14 Jun 1803). However, there is no conclusive evidence that Georg and Catherine lived in Cumberland nor had a fourth child also named Henry.) 2) Elizabeth Yantz, b. 22 Jul 1781, Frederick, Maryland; baptized 14 Oct 1781. Family record also shows that Levi Hopkins Hauser, the 11th child of Adam Hauser and Sivilla Yantz, named in honor of Levi Hopkins who married Sivilla's sister Elizabeth Yantz.)
