Holcomb of 499 Base Line, were married last night at the home of the bridegroom’s parents in the presence of a large number of relatives and close friends. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Chairmen of the dinner were Roy V. Kibbee and Ernest Rebecchini. The next benefit dinner will be Feb. 22, Kibbee announced. Guest speaker was Sommers Holcomb, grandson of pioneer William F. Holcomb. Obituary - Telegram, Mon., Feb. 8, 1971 Sommers C. Holcomb, Trinidad Sommers C. Holcomb, 75, of Trinidad, (Humboldt), died Saturday in a Eureka hospital. Born in San Bernardino, he had been a resident of San Bernardino County many years, having lived in Trinidad for the past four years. He was a member of the Holcomb pioneer family. Survivors include his wife, Helen, three daughters, Mrs. Berniece Loggins of Little Rock, Calif., Mrs. Betsy Bell and Mrs. Joanne Lindy, both of Highland; a sister, Avis Graham of Utah, and a brother, Howard Holcomb of San Bernardino. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Paul Mortuary Chapel, McKinleyville, Calif. with cremation and inurnment to follow.
