| Description | : | Mrs. Sophie Catherine Marie Vonderohe was born June 7, 1824, at Bockel, Germany. In 1847 she married William Vonderohe, with whom she had six children, two sons and four daughters. In 1863 her husband died. In July 1873 she came to Seward, Nebraska with her children, where she remained until her death. The last years she made her home with her son-in-law, J. F. Goehner.
