Description	:	Sister Dominica of St Joseph's Academy, north of Tipton, died at the Mercy hospital in Elwood, Friday at 10 p.m., hollowing an illness of several months. Sister Dominica, who was 58, was taken to the hospital two weeks ago Funeral services will be conducted by Father David L. Farrote, priest at st. Joseph's academy, at the academy chapel Monday at 10 a.m. The body was taken to Young's funeral home and was returned to the chapel to lie in state from 3 p.m. today until 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the convent cemetery. Sister Dominica was born Anna Fecher, daughter of John and Christina (Grossman) Fecher, north of Tipton, Aug. 23, 1886. Her parents came to Tipton county from Franklin county about 62 years ago, and Sister Dominica lived her entire life here. A sister at St. Joseph's academy for 39 years, Sister Dominica attended Hobart school, north of Tipton, and St. John's school here. She entered the convent on March 19, 1906, at the age of 20, and took her final vows in 1917. Sister Dominica later studied several years at St. Charles hospital in Bend, Oregon. Survivors include two brothers, William and Leo, of near Tipton; three sisters, Mrs Lizzie Nichols, of Winamac; Mrs. Katie Nichols, of Knoxville, Ill., and Mrs. Rose Hammerly, of Batesville. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
