Description	:	Tipton Daily Tribune, 2 March 1925 Sunday morning at about 10 o'clock, one of the good members of the county passed to her reward, when Mrs. John Fecher, who had been a resident of Tipton County for the past 40 years, died at the home of her son, Lee, north of Tipton. Mrs. Fecher had been ill for the past two years and during the winter her condition had been growing rapidly worse. Read More	Tipton Daily Tribune, 2 March 1925 Sunday morning at about 10 o'clock, one of the good members of the county passed to her reward, when Mrs. John Fecher, who had been a resident of Tipton County for the past 40 years, died at the home of her son, Lee, north of Tipton. Mrs. Fecher had been ill for the past two years and during the winter her condition had been growing rapidly worse. Mrs. Fecher was one of the splendid mothers of Tipton County, who reared a large family in the fear of God, and they are living witnesses to the training received at her hands. A devote member of the Catholic church, Mrs. Fecher died secure in the belief of another life. Mrs. Fecher was born in Franklin County, seventy-five years ago and was united in marriage to John Fecher in that county when 19 years of age. She and her husband continued to reside in Franklin County until their remove to this community. Surviving are the children, Lee, who resides on the Niemann place, northeast of Tipton; Will at home; A.J. Fecher, residing southwest of Curtisville; John, of Texas; Gus, who resides at Summitville; Mrs. Lizzie Nicolas, who resides in Illinois; Mrs. Thersa Weaner, of Wheatville; and Fanny, who is a member of the Order of St. Joseph, having entered the sisterhood several years ago and is now stationed in Oregon. Mrs. Fecher is also survived by 36 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
