Read More	Hays Daily News – Jul. 17, 2001 Sister Margaret Louise Windholz CONCORDIA — Sister Margaret Louise Windholz, 88, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at the Nazareth Convent. She was born Josephine Windholz on March 3, 1913, in Emmeram to Adam and Anna (Scheck) Windholz. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in Concordia on Aug. 15, 1929. She made first vows on Aug. 15, 1931, and final vows on Aug. 15, 1934. She served in schools and hospitals staffed by the Sisters of St. Joseph in Concordia, Salina, Tipton, Sabetha, and Manhattan, Boonville, Mo, Chicago and Belvidere, Ill. She moved to Salina in 1985, working in the Vietnamese Refugee Center, helping teach English. She retired in the Motherhouse in 1997. Survivors include a brother, Delmos, Lawrence; and five sisters, Leona Tallman, Hutchinson, Regina Mai, Loveland, Colo., Edna Tope, Arlington, Georgina Leiker, Mulvane, and Lioba Schmidt, Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles, and two sisters, Lucy Hertel and Thecha Gross. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nazareth Convent Motherhouse with the Rev. Curtis Van Del officiating; burial in the Nazareth Convent Cemetery. A Bible vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Nazareth Convent Chapel. Chaput-Buoy Mortuary, Concordia, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Fund or the Apostolic Works of the Sisters.
