Description	:	Stanley Max "Stan" Luke, of Oxford, Nebraska and Yuma, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his home in Yuma, Arizona. Stan was born October 25, 1931 in Powell, Wyoming, the seventh of eight children born to Bruce Eugene and Grace Ann (Beam) Luke. Stan attended school at Mascot, Nebraska graduating from Mascot (NE.) High School with the class of 1949. On August 12, 1952, he was inducted into the United States Army in Omaha, Nebraska, serving his country during the Korean War. Read More	Stanley Max "Stan" Luke, of Oxford, Nebraska and Yuma, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his home in Yuma, Arizona. Stan was born October 25, 1931 in Powell, Wyoming, the seventh of eight children born to Bruce Eugene and Grace Ann (Beam) Luke. Stan attended school at Mascot, Nebraska graduating from Mascot (NE.) High School with the class of 1949. On August 12, 1952, he was inducted into the United States Army in Omaha, Nebraska, serving his country during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on August 11, 1954 at Camp Sealfeldon, Austria. Stan met and was united in marriage to Anna H. "Angie" Nabicht in Vienna, Austria and to this union two children were born: Larry and Kenneth. The family made their home in Cody, Wyoming, where they owned a small motel and Stan also worked in road construction. In 1976, Stan and Angie moved to Oxford, Nebraska where Stan engaged in farming. Besides parents, Stan was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. Stan is survived by: devoted wife, Anna H. "Angie" Luke of Oxford, Nebraska; sons: Larry Luke and his wife, Kristi of San Diego, California and Ken Luke and his friend, Celia Bullington of Yuma, Arizona; grandsons: Nathan and Kamden Luke, Shawn Luke and his wife, Kathern and Sy Luke and his wife, Melissa; one great-grandson; one sister and a host family and friends. nterment was in the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Nebraska, with Military Honors conducted by the Oxford (NE.)
