More Friends and neighbours were shocked at the sudden death of Stanley J. More at his home on the 8th line of Ramsay. He was the only son of the late George More and his wife, Rebecca Metcalfe. The deceased was born on Feb 22nd, 1894, and because of his mother's and father's early passing he had to take the responsibilities of the farm when he was 12 years of age. The funeral, which was largely attended took place from the Comba Funeral Home and interment was in the Auld Kirk Cemetery, in the family plot. The deceased was a member of St John's Presbyterian Church. Rev James M. Ritchie of that church conducted the service. Mr More is survived by two sisters, Mabel, Mrs P. Twicotte of Toronto, and Sadie, Mrs H. Desarmia of Arnprior, also three nieces of Arnprior. Mr Donald More of Almonte is an uncle and there are many cousins. The pallbearers were six cousins Messrs Harry, William and Ray Metcalfe, Milton, Andrew and Charles More. The flower bearers were Messrs Wilmer Metcalfe, Harold More and Allie Munro, a neighbour
