Description	:	Stanley William "Stan" Risinger, of Brunswick, Nebraska, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at his home. Stan, son of Franklin and Evelyn (Veenker) Risinger, was born September 11, 1954, at Creighton, Nebraska. Stan grew up on the family farm north of Brunswick. He attended country school at District #61 and graduated from Creighton High School in 1973. Stan later attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska. Read More	Stanley William "Stan" Risinger, of Brunswick, Nebraska, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at his home. Stan, son of Franklin and Evelyn (Veenker) Risinger, was born September 11, 1954, at Creighton, Nebraska. Stan grew up on the family farm north of Brunswick. He attended country school at District #61 and graduated from Creighton High School in 1973. Stan later attended Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska. He farmed with his father, and was first married to Pamela Sehi in 1983. The couple was blessed with two beautiful daughters: Kelley and Megan. In July 2011, Stan married his good friend of many years, Theresa Smydra. Stan had various jobs which included farming, driving truck, and his fishing guide service, Lunker Express. He then owned and operated Stan's Lawn and Tree Service near the home farm for 20 years. His family was an important part of his successful business operation. There is no way that words can express or describe how wonderful a man Stan was. He loved to fish, hunt, attend auctions, ride motorcycle, watch thunderstorms, read western books, watch old movies, fall deer camp, and appreciate the outdoors. Stan especially loved to fish for catfish by wading in the Niobrara River below Spencer Dam near Spencer, Nebraska. He was very talented with the knack of being able to fix almost anything. Stan was a very loving, patient, and intelligent man, quick-witted, and always willing to help someone out. Everyone that knew him loved him. This was made very evident at the benefit held for him on June 1, 2013. He was astounded and so very appreciative of the love and support of everyone who attended and donated to the benefit. Stan is survived by his wife, Theresa Risinger of Brunswick, Nebraska; daughters, Kelley (Jacob) Gubbels of Wisner, Nebraska and Megan Risinger of Kearney, Nebraska; step-son, Loren Smydra; brothers, Duane (Irene) Risinger and Warren (Linda) Risinger, all of Orchard, Nebraska; and LeRoy (Joan) Risinger of Clearwater; sisters, Marilyn (Bill) Cobler of Crofton, Nebraska and Donna (Randy) Petersen of Plainview, Nebraska and a host of relatives and countless friends. Stan was preceded in death by: parents and sister, Glenda Poellot. Private family funeral services for Stan Risinger, of Brunswick, Nebraska, were held Friday, August 2, 2013, with burial in the Hope-Enterprise Cemetery, rural Orchard, Antelope County, Nebraska.
