Description	:	DR. YINGER DIES IN HOSPITAL Dr. Starling Yinger, 70, of 1655 MIdvale rd., an ear, nose, and throat specialist in Springfield, died at 6:49 a.m. Monday in Mercy Medical Center. He had been a patient there for two days. Dr. Yinger had served as a member of the board of directors at Springfield Federal Savings and Loan Association and had served as a chief of the medical staff at Mercy Hospital for a number of years. He had been a patient there for two days. Dr. Yinger had served as a member of the board of directors at Springfield Federal Savings and Loan Association and had served as a chief of the medical staff at Mercy Hospital for a number of years. He was born Feb. 21, 1903, in Columbus, the son of William and Minnie Cisco Yinger. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Wiant Yinger, to whom he was married in 1929; one son, William, of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Suzanne) Pierce, of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Hall Runkle, of Fletcher, O.; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. His body was taken to the Richeson-Wickham and Atkins Funeral Home, St. Paris. There will be no visitation hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family by the Rev. Marvin Dowson of the St. Paris United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity. (Copied from the Springfield Daily News, Monday, December 31, 1973).
