Currie Funeral services were conducted Monday from Henderson's funeral chapel for Mrs Stella Katherine Currie, a past mistress and active member of Loba Jubilee lodge No. 774, whose death occurred Thursday at the family home, 541 Carter Road. The service was taken by Rev. Canon H. P. Barrett, assisted by Rev. John Scott, past grand master, Loa of BC. Grave side services were conducted by members of Loba of Chilliwack. Martin, Veitch Creek, BC.; Mrs A.E. Carlson, Hutchinson, BC.; two sons, James, Chilliwack, and Charles, Victoria; also three grandchildren. Of interest: The Cemetery where she is laid to rest is now called The Chilliwack Cemetery and is located on Little Mountain. Her husband and son James and Charles are laid to rest there as well.
