Stella lived part time in Columbiana and also at the Biltmore Hotel in New York City. She was killed crossing West Park Avenue at the square January 19, 1963. Stella never married. Stella had a brother, Paul, who was part of the search party seeking the source of Mill Creek. Paul also provided the maps of The Sandy and Beaver Canal for Max Gard which are a part of Max's book. Stella had another brother, Albert, who was an aide to General "Black Jack" Pershing during WWI. His uniform is part of the collection at the Historical Society. I have no knowledge of the Seminary mentioned in the picture.
