He was the son of the late Stephen Mosher and wife, Clara Demone Zinck. He followed the sea from an early age, retiring in the sixties, after which he was employed by Zwicker and Company and Scotia Trawler Equipment Limited. On his retirement, enjoying good health, he continued his activities on his farm until his death. Mosher 1977 Bridgewater Bulletin Death came suddenly in his sleep to Mr. Stephen B. Mosher, age 87, of Corkum's Island. He was the son of the late Stephen Mosher and wife, Clara Demone Zinck. He followed the sea from an early age, retiring in the sixties, after which he was employed by Zwicker and Company and Scotia Trawler Equipment Limited. On his retirement, enjoying good health, he continued his activities on his farm until his death. His funeral was held Sunday, the 18th, from Central United Church, Lunenburg, of which he was a member and supporter for over sixty years. The service was conducted by Rev. Glen McLean with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. The pallbearers were his two grandsons, Ian and Neil James, Mr. James Parke, Mr. Sherman Parke, Mr. Elvin Conrad, and Mr. Frank Allen. Mr. Mosher is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Oliver; a daughter, Barbara James; son, Leonard, at home; one granddaughter,Ann, Mrs. Michael Gardiner, Sydney; five grandsons, Kevin, Leslie Mosher and Andrew Mosher, Sydney; and Ian and Neil James of Lunenburg; two great grandchildren of Sydney; two sisters, Annie, Mrs. Robert Gerhardt of Bayport; and Carrie, Mrs. Allen Mosher, of Lunenburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Leslie; five sisters, Elsie in infancy; Louise, Mrs. Clarence Corkum; Ethel, Mrs. Mahlon Berringer; Hilda, Mrs. Maurice Zinck; Margaret, Mrs. Edward Jensen; two brothers, Captain Gordon Mosher and Captain Daniel Mosher of Corkum's Island; and two half-brothers, Henry and Captain Morris Zinck of Lunenburg.
