Read More	Steve Bauer, 56, Kenmare, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in his home. Steven Alan Bauer was born on Feb. 5, 1957, a son of Leonard and Ethel (Hanson) Bauer, in Kenmare. He was raised on the family farm and attended Kenmare Public School, graduating in 1975. Following graduation, he attended North Dakota State University in Fargo and the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton for a time. He returned to Kenmare and took over the family farm. On July 29, 1983, Steve was united in marriage to Elaine Moen at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare. They continued living and raising their family in rural Kenmare on the family farm. Steve enjoyed watching sports, listening to rock 'n' roll music, visiting with friends and taking his dog, Jersey, on many pickup rides. Those who shared in his life: Wife, Elaine, Kenmare; son, Cole Bauer, Minneapolis; daughters, Lisa (Paxton) Perlichek, Kenmare, and Kiah Bauer, Grand Forks; brothers, Roger (Kate) Bauer, of Benson, Minn., Paul (Bev) Bauer, Kenmare, and John Bauer, St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Kathleen Bauer, Kenmare; brother-in-law, Gerald Stark, Spearfish, S.D.; mother-in-law, Gloria Moen, Kenmare; sisters-in-law, Eileen Helmers, Kenmare, Valerie Moen, St. Petersburg, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Amanda Bauer, Carrie Bauer, Rachel Bauer, Weston Bauer, Ashley Bauer, Tracey Stark, John (Britney) Stark, Gabriel Stark, Andrew Stark, Blair Helmers and Zack Helmers. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ethel Bauer; father-in-law, Mert Moen; sister, Jean Stark; brother-in-law, Todd Helmers; and niece, Heidi Stark.
