He lived on a farm south and west of Miller with the family until moving to Miller in 1952. Read More	Car-Bicycle Accident Fatally Injures 5th Grader Steve Flint ………………… Steve Vernon Flint was born in Miller on September 19, 1951, the third son of Howard and Josephine Flint. He lived on a farm south and west of Miller with the family until moving to Miller in 1952. He started school in 1956 and at the time of his death, he was in the fifth grade in the Miller Public Schools. He was an active boy, loving sports of all kinds. He was a member of the beginners' band at school. As a member of Cub Scouts, he was working toward his Lions Badge. He attended Sunday School at the Methodist Church and sang with the Junior Choir. Left to mourn his sudden death are his parents, two brothers, Bruce and Bryce, two sisters, Jean and Janice, his grandmother, Mrs. C.H. Flint, a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and playmates. The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Methodist Church with Rev. Mobly officiating. Interment was made at IOOF Hill Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers were James Grahm, Bob Templeton, Kenneth Augsurger and Garth Zeigler. Funeral arrangements were made by Reck Funeral Home.
