Hill consort of the late Isaac Hill, who departed this life April 9th, 1894, being near 45 years of age at the time of his death. Mrs. Hill was born March 11th 1856, was married June 8th 1871. Nine children were born of this union, six girls and three boys. Two girls having preceded their father and mother into the spirit land. Mrs. Hill sweetly breathed her last near 2 o'clock a.m. August the 13. Age 40 years, 5 months and 2 days. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Elders Burgher and Sawin after which the body was laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Bloomfield Friday afternoon. John Hill of Shelby County Indiana was wired to come and arrived in time for the burial. He will look after the interest of the children and find homes for them before returning home. It is sad indeed to have parents removed by death and the bereaved family separated perhaps forever.
