F. and Jane Collins was born August 15, 1844, in Henry county (sic), Indiana, and departed this life at her home near Munden, Kan., August 8, 1934, aged 89 years, 11 months and 24 days. She grew to womanhood in Henry county (sic) Indiana. In 1861 she was married to W. R. Pressnall, who preceded her in death 15 years ago. To this union 15 children were born, 4 dying in infancy. She grew to womanhood in Henry county (sic) Indiana. In 1861 she was married to W. R. Pressnall, who preceded her in death 15 years ago. To this union 15 children were born, 4 dying in infancy. Three other children preceded her in death. Morton, aged 14 years, Gracie aged 11 years and Mrs. Mary Pack, aged 60 years. In the year of 1879 with her husband and eight children she moved to the farm where she was living when God called her home. In her early life she united with the Wesleyan Methodist church but later years transferred her membership to the United Brethren church. She was always active in her church work, delighting in serving her Master and anxious to help His ministers. Her life was known for her kindliness to others, she was anxious to help those who were sick or in trouble. She leaves to mourn her loss eight children, Lon Pressnall of Chester, Neb., Effie Smith of Garnett, Kan., Fred Pressnall of Mooreland, Okla., Luther, Merton, Ernest and Clint Pressnall and Mrs. Emma Hiatt, all of Munden; 49 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends who will miss her. The funeral services were conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Ida church by the Rev. Bertha Fogelberg and L. M. Keys of Scandia and the Rev. Mr. Williams of Chester, Neb. The Rev. Mr. Williams and Miss Keys each brought a personal tribute to the godly life of Mother Pressnall and the Rev. Miss Fogelberg preached the message. All the living children were present and a large number of grandchildren. Interment was made in the Ida cemetery (sic).
