Description	:	Susan Rimpe, 86, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Home. Susan was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Billings, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Hatch. Susan married the love of her life, Karl, on Jan. 20, 1945. Together, they raised their two children, Scott and Terrell, in Billings. Susan was an active Pink Lady volunteer at Deaconess Hospital for many years and enjoyed visiting with patients, their families and hospital staff. Read More	Susan Rimpe, 86, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Home. Susan was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Billings, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Hatch. Susan married the love of her life, Karl, on Jan. 20, 1945. Together, they raised their two children, Scott and Terrell, in Billings. Susan was an active Pink Lady volunteer at Deaconess Hospital for many years and enjoyed visiting with patients, their families and hospital staff. Her true passions in life were her husband, whom she loved dearly and missed so much after his death, and her family. Susan loved to cook and always delighted in keeping her family well fed at large family gatherings. She and Karl adored their grandchildren and could always be found spending time with them. Her husband and family were the center of her life. Susan is survived by her daughter, Terrell Coffey of Billings; granddaughter, Alison (Tom) Heermance; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Peyton, all of Davis, Calif.; and her daughter-in-law, Lorrie Rimpe of Billings. Susan is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Jim; her sister, Gertrude; her son, Scott; her grandson, Jason; and her son-in-law, Wayne Coffey. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m., at the Kathy Lillis Memorial Chapel on the St. John's Lutheran Ministries campus. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Ministries Foundation, 2429 Mission Way, Billings, MT 59102, or to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel.
