NOTES There is a Paul Garrison listed on tax list for Grayson Co. in 1774 and an Isham/Isom Garrison listed on it for 1800. It's possible they are the same man..Paul Isham or Isham Paul. Both names are in family. believe he/they belong to one family. They are NOT related to Isaac Garrisons who were there. believe 3 boys were born to Isham Garrison in the first decade of 1800 and believe they are from that Garrison family FROM marti Garrison Zinn NOTES George Jones, who may have come from near Richmond, VA. to Brush Creek, Carroll/Grayson County area. He had a brother named Dave Jones, his wife's brother was named Mark Johnson and a sister was named Susan Jones. Susan married Issac Garrison. George Jones married Alice Johnson on September 19, 1799, in Grayson Co, VA. Joneses may be connected to the Minitree Jones that were located in the northern part of Grayson Co and in Wythe Co. There are several sets of Joneses in that area.
