Description	:	BIOGRAPHY: Anna Carey, daughter of Reverend Jonathan Carey and Susan Carey, was born in Davis County, Iowa, March 28, 1859, and passed away at her home in Central City, Nebraska, April 29, 1945, at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 1 day. She was converted in Old Wesley Chapel near her Father and Mother's home in her 18th year and has always lived a happy Christian life. Read More	BIOGRAPHY: Anna Carey, daughter of Reverend Jonathan Carey and Susan Carey, was born in Davis County, Iowa, March 28, 1859, and passed away at her home in Central City, Nebraska, April 29, 1945, at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 1 day. She was converted in Old Wesley Chapel near her Father and Mother's home in her 18th year and has always lived a happy Christian life. She was united with John Wagoner February 28, 1882 and moved to their homestead south of Hordville, Hamilton,Nebraska. Two children came to bless this home, Laurice Carey and Alta Grace. Laurice dying in his 11th year. Her husband dying 3 years later in 1899. Mrs. Wagoner and her daughter, Grace, continued living on the farm until 1904 when they moved to Central City. Her daughter, Grace, Lovingly cared for her Mother during the last weeks of her illness. Mrs. Wagoner bore her pain and suffering patiently. Mrs. Wagoner was a faithful member of the Free methodist Church. She leaves to mourn her passing, 1 daughter, Mrs. Grace Clayton, Hordville; 2 brothers, Luther Carey of Noel, Missouri, Joshua Carey of Wichita, Kansas; 2 sisters, Mrs. Margaret Overturf of Sutton, Nebraska, Mrs. Malinda Miller of Blakesburg; and 4 gradchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
