'''''''''''''''''' The Elgin Review, March 7, 1924, p. 1, col. 4 MRS. PETER ERPELDING Mrs. Susanna Erpelding was born in Luxenburg, on Sept. 15, 1857. She came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Capesius, to David City, Neb., in 1883, and was united in marriage to Peter Erpelding on Feb. 8, 1887, in 1896 they moved to the vicinity of Elgin and here she made her home up to the time of her death which occurred on February 25th at 9:45 p.m. There were ten children: James P., Mike and Theodore, who live at home; Mrs. Mary Penne, who lives west of Elgin; Mrs. Lena Lohoff of Raeville; Angelica, Mathew, Katherina, Patricia and John, who preceded their mother in death. Funeral services were held from St. Boniface church in Elgin, Father Buelt officiating. __ Card of Thanks We wish to thank all of those kind friends and neighbors who assisted and comforted us during the illness and death of our beloved wife and mother.
