She was the daughter of Rev. John P. Miller. and Magdalena Miller. On Aug. 12, 1912 she was married to J. H. Lingenfelder of Hanston, Kans. Two daughters were born to this union. Read More	Newton Kansan Dec. 16, 1943 Susanna Katheryn Lingenfelder of North Newton, Kansas, was born at Hanston, Kansas Sept. 1. 1889. She departed this life Dec. 9, 1943. She was the daughter of Rev. John P. Miller. and Magdalena Miller. On Aug. 12, 1912 she was married to J. H. Lingenfelder of Hanston, Kans. Two daughters were born to this union. Linda (Mrs. Max Regier) of Newton and Bernice of the home. The family resided at Hanston, Kansas, until Septemer 1942 when they moved to North Newton, Kansas. In her early girlhood Mrs. Lingenfelder was baptised by her father and was a faithful member of the Hanston Mennonite church until she moved to North Newton at which time she transferred her membership to Bethel College Mennonite Church. Besides her husband, her two daughters and her little granddaughter Rosalind Regier, she leaves to mourn her death three brothers and three sisters. J. A. Miller and Ed Miller of Hanston, Kans., A. R. Miller of Venice California Mrs. Mina Ewy of Abilene, Kans., Mrs. Elizabeth Lingenfelder of Hanston, Kans., and Mrs. Anna M. Baumgartner of North Newton. The following preceded her in death: R. A. Miller, John E. Miller and Mrs. Emma Bauer. Funeral services were held at Bethel College Chapel Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Lester Hostetler conducted the services, the Bethel A Capella choir under the direction of Walter H. Hohmann sang the favorite hymns of Mrs. Lingenfelder. "O Perfect Love," "Near to the Heart of God," and "O Power of Love." Miss Ruth Detweiler at the organ accompanied by Rupert Hohmann on the Violin played softly Londonderry Air and Ave Maria. These also were favorite selections of the deceased. Pallbearers were Leonard Kreider, A. J. Regier, Willis Rich, Ralph C. Kauffman, Val Krehbiel and J. J. Seimens.
