Description	:	Mrs. Susannah Gifford, widow of the late Ben. F. Gifford, died at her home in Windfall, Monday at twelve o.clock after a brief illness. She was in her usual health Sunday morning and attended services at the Baptist church, but complained of not feeling well on the way home from church. She gradually grew worse until her condition became critical and death came at the noon. hour. Read More	Mrs. Susannah Gifford, widow of the late Ben. F. Gifford, died at her home in Windfall, Monday at twelve o.clock after a brief illness. She was in her usual health Sunday morning and attended services at the Baptist church, but complained of not feeling well on the way home from church. She gradually grew worse until her condition became critical and death came at the noon. hour. Mrs. Gifford whose maiden name was McClish, was about 80 years of age and was married to Mr. Gifford on March 1, 1866 in Tipton county. She has been a life long member of the Methodist church and one of its most faithful members. She was a woman of strong character and her life has always been an inspiration for good to others and she was beloved by every one. Mr. Gifford died about 10 years ago. During the present winter, her step son Perry Gifford and wife who reside on a farm near Windfall have lived in her home and assisting in looking after her needs. No arrangements have been made for the funeral at the time of going to press. The above obituary was taken from the Tipton Tribune, Feb. 17th, 1919 and it was published on the day of her death.
