Mrs. John Gambrel died this morning at her home a half mile beyond the Des Moines river bridge. Mrs. Gambrel had been sick for some time and death resulted from a comlication of diseases. She has been a resident of this vicinity for many years, and was seventy years old. She is survived by her husband and the followiing children: Mrs. Melvina Howell, Daniel Gambrel, James Gambrel, John Gambrel, and Charles Gambrel. Mrs. Gambrel was Miss Susie Ann Hurley, and she was born in Tennessee, where she lived until she was fifteen years old, when she went with her parents to Kentucky. There she was married to John M.
