Description	:	Susie Catherine English, daughter of James and Polly Coleman, was born in Auglaize-co, near St. Johns, Ohio, on November 27th, 1864, and slipped gently out of this life at her home in Lima, on December 1st, 1943, at the age of 79 yearas, after a week's illness. She had just observed her 79th birthday last Saturday. On September 5th, 1886, she was married to Willis D. English, who passed away on January 13, 1940. Read More	Susie Catherine English, daughter of James and Polly Coleman, was born in Auglaize-co, near St. Johns, Ohio, on November 27th, 1864, and slipped gently out of this life at her home in Lima, on December 1st, 1943, at the age of 79 yearas, after a week's illness. She had just observed her 79th birthday last Saturday. On September 5th, 1886, she was married to Willis D. English, who passed away on January 13, 1940. To this union were born four children, three girls and one boy, two of whom died in childhood. The two remaining are Mrs. Ferrol Kinstle, of 750 Atlantic Avenue, and Mrs. Arthur Johoske, 549 S. Elizabeth-st, Lima. Mrs. English was an active member of the M. E. church in St. Johns, Ohio, for a number of years. She became affiliated with Grace church after moving to Lima and attended regularly while her health permitted her to do so. She was a member of the Ruth Circle. Her cheery smile and friendly disposition gave her a host of friends. She was the last one out of a family of eight. Besides the daughters, she leaves six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two of the grandsons, Don and Bernard Kinstle, are in the Army, and one, Earl Kinstle, is in the Navy in Sicily. (published in The Lima News, Tuesday, December 7, 1943)
