Description	:	Willis D. English Funeral services for Willis D. English, 81, who died Saturday morning at his home at 750 S. Elizabeth-st, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grace Methodist church with Rev. G. W Whyman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. English, a resident of Lima for several years, was formerly employed at the Lima Locomotive Works. He was a member of the Grace Methodist church and the Borrowed Time club. English was born in Auglaize-co and came to Lima as a boy to learn the cement trade. He started with the Lima Locomotive Works in 1900 and retired a few years ago. For 13 years after he had been crippled by an accident, English was the gatekeeper at the plant's Third and Fourth-st gates. He is survived by his wife, Susie, with whom he recently celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary; two daughters, Mrs. Ferrol Kinstle, of 766 Holly-st; and Mrs. Arthur Johoske, of 549 S. Elizabeth-st; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Verne McMichael of Lima; and four brothers, Charles and A. F., of S. Central-av, Emery of Richwood, and Elwood of Wapakoneta. The body was removed Saturday evening from the Siferd and Son funeral home to the residence to remain until time of services.
