Description	:	Suzette Hunter Frick, widow of Otis Darr Frick of Chapin, born in the Stoney Hill Community of Prosperity on December 28, 1925, to Raymond and Sue Lester Hunter, died peacefully at her home on September 21, 2016. Suzette was raised by her father and stepmother, Jenny Lester Hunter, after her mother passed away when Suzette was three years olf. Read More	Suzette Hunter Frick, widow of Otis Darr Frick of Chapin, born in the Stoney Hill Community of Prosperity on December 28, 1925, to Raymond and Sue Lester Hunter, died peacefully at her home on September 21, 2016. Suzette was raised by her father and stepmother, Jenny Lester Hunter, after her mother passed away when Suzette was three years olf. After graduating from Stoney Hill School, she moved to Chapin where she met the love of her life, O. Darr Frick. They were married for 69 years and owners of Frick’s Grocery for more than 25 years. Suzette was a quiet, peaceful, gentle and humble soul that loved her family and was loved by everyone who met her. She loved family gatherings, cooking and making gifts for others and fellowship with friends whether it was shopping, playing set back, beauty shop visits, or barbecues. She loved any type of sweet treat but most of all she loved spending time with all her loved ones and her church family. She is survived by her children; sons Randy (Pam) Frick, Melvin (Susan) Frick, Ashley (Missy) Frick and daughters Paulette (Paul) Lindler and Zeolean (John) Kinard. She was known as “Mama Susie” and the “gifter” of chocolate candies and treats to twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by one brother-in-law, Larry (Judy) Frick; sisters–in–law Esther Frick, Gertrude Frick, and Ethel Frick who was not just a sister-by-marriage but also a life-long friend. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Nancy Howard Frick. She was predeceased in death by brothers Ray Hunter and Lester Hunter and sisters Juanita Long and Carolyn Hunter. Funeral Services: 3 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Chapin.
