Description	:	Mrs. Talitha L. Stansbury was born August 30th, 1849, in Indiana; passed away at the home of her son Ollie L. Aikin in Nelson, October 30, 1932, having lived 83 years and 2 months. When but a small girl she moved to Clark county (sic), Iowa. She was united in marriage to Relzy Mitchell Aikin at Osceola, Iowa, where they resided until 1873, when they moved to Nuckolls county (sic), Nebraska, where she has lived until her death. Stansbury was born August 30th, 1849, in Indiana; passed away at the home of her son Ollie L. Aikin in Nelson, October 30, 1932, having lived 83 years and 2 months. She was united in marriage to Relzy Mitchell Aikin at Osceola, Iowa, where they resided until 1873, when they moved to Nuckolls county (sic), Nebraska, where she has lived until her death. To this happy union six children were born as follows: John W. Aikin, Luella M. Aikin, both deceased, Oliver L. Aikin of Nelson, Mrs. Ella Wetzel and Mrs. Hattie L. Hewitt of Superior, Mrs. Grace Moss, Nelson. The husband preceded her in death December 18, 1912. All the surviving children were present at her death. They did all that loving hands and hearts could do to minister to the wants and care and comfort of their mother. She leaves twelve grand children to mourn her death. Mrs. Aikin joined the Christian church (sic) in her girlhood. She and her husband united with the Christian of Ox Bow under the ministry of D.R. Dungan and were charter members of that church, it being organized in 1873. Later they transferred their membership to Nelson and were liberal contributors and builders of the church. As long as Mrs. Aikin was physically able she attended her church regularly. The funeral services was conducted by the Pastor, Rev. C.R. Brooks at the Christian church (sic) Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, assisted by the pastor of the Methodist church (sic). CARD OF THANKS We wish by this means to express our fullest appreciation and thanks to each and all who so kindly assisted us in many ways in the time of our deep sorrow and bereavement.
