(Johnson) Willis Martin. He was a retired chef. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, and friend. He is preceded in death by his father, Joyce Willis; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Exie (Howard) Johnson, and paternal grandparents, Winford and Mattie (Doyle) Willis. He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, his mother, Ola V (Johnson) Willis - Martin of Pitkin; one brother, Rusty Martin of Lake Charles; two sisters, Pam Willis of Alexandria and Shirley (Willis) Green of Leesville; two sons, Darwin Strother of DeRidder and Dustin Willis of St. Rose; five daughters, Tonia Willis of California, Heather Willis of Baton Rouge, Tiffany Willis of St. Rose, Taylor Willis and Danielle Willis both of LaPlace; ten grandchildren; and numerous family and friends. Visitation will begin Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., then on Monday, September 1, 2014 from 9 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the church.
