Description	:	Born February 1, 1936 in Nemo, South Dakota to Jack and Atta Olsen. She was raised in Spearfish, South Dakota with her 2 sisters and brother, Marian, Jacquie & Edsel. When she completed High School in 1954, she attended Black Hills Teachers College in Spearfish. Her first teaching job was in Worland, Wyoming, which lasted from 1957-1960. She married, moved to several locations, teaching along the way, before landing in Oakesdale, Washington. Read More	Born February 1, 1936 in Nemo, South Dakota to Jack and Atta Olsen. She was raised in Spearfish, South Dakota with her 2 sisters and brother, Marian, Jacquie & Edsel. When she completed High School in 1954, she attended Black Hills Teachers College in Spearfish. Her first teaching job was in Worland, Wyoming, which lasted from 1957-1960. She married, moved to several locations, teaching along the way, before landing in Oakesdale, Washington. In 1968, she, along with her 3 children, moved back to Spearfish until she married Dick Lohman in 1970, which brought her back to Oakesdale. Teresa and Dick were married 49 years and she continued to teach, farm and raise their blended family of 9 children. Dan (Leann) Lohman, Rick (Pam) Lohman, Don (Jan) Trueblood, Kathy (Randy) Robinson, Sheryl (Brent) Long, Dennis Trueblood, David (Tavi) Lohman, Tesi Lohman and Kim (Steve) Nelson. Teresa loved to teach and took great pride in her classroom and all her students. She also worked hard alongside Dick on the farm. Her greatest accomplishment, however, was being a mother to all 9 of her children and grandmother to her many grandchildren. She spread her love equally and unconditionally to all and was a solid rock to her family and friends. She loved Christmas and all it stands for. She had a strong faith and love for Jesus. Her home was a Christmas wonderland. She enjoyed hosting the annual teacher's Christmas party! Not sure where she found the time to do it all, but she did. Teresa also loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed sharing old family recipes and teaching her kids and grandkids how to make them all. She was famous for her cinnamon & dinner rolls! Her house was a favorite stop on Halloween to get a bag of her yummy carmel corn or a gooey popcorn ball. Teresa was a beautiful soul. She loved unconditionally, was never too busy to listen, give advice or help someone in need. She loved telling jokes and singing old children's songs to her kids & grandkids. She was so loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends!!! Teresa passed away in her apartment at LaDow Court in Garfield, WA, on July 13, 2021, where she had been lovingly cared for the past 2 years. She is survived by her 9 children, 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sister Jacquie (Gerald) McInerney and brother Edsel (Patsy) Olson. Teresa read Charlotte's Web to her 2nd graders every year. I think we can all agree with this quote from Charlotte.... "You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing."
