Description	:	In October 1807 Simon and wife Thankful moved with son Simon and his family and daughter Bethiah, to Wayne township, Ashtabula county, Ohio. First death in Wayne Township. Mrs. Thankful Fobes grandmother of Joshua Fobes and wife of Simon Fobes died at her grandsons home. Her place of burial is a little distance from the center of Wayne. There were no clergymen present and services were conducted by those present. Three days later her husband Simon died and was laid to rest by her side in the forest graveyard.
