She was also preceded in death by her husband, Estle Bias; daughter, Brenda Sue Bias; and brothers, Emil, Glenn, Ralph and Ermon. Ruth was a member of Spencer United Methodist Church where she was active for many years. She was the Hewett Postmaster from 1958 until she retired in 1988. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at Spencer United Methodist Church, Hewett with the Rev. Roger McCauley and Earl Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Gore Cemetery, Hewett. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
